If there is one thing that I am passionate about as a photographer it is building community. From the time I took that leap of faith and became a photographer full time I had the blessing of finding support, encouragement and growth in other photographers around me. Through those precious friendships we pushed each other to be better, constantly improve and continually strive to deliver a better experience to our clients with each and every session, event and shoot.I know in my heart that I am not only fortunate to do what I LOVE for a living but through it have made some of my best friends in the process! It is in that same spirit of learning, challenging and growing that The Photog Retreat was created. In short...an open, friendly environment where we not only learn from industry leaders but from one another as well- creating new friendships that will last a lifetime.
The concept is simple- take a group of people who share a passion for photography and a desire to improve, learn and enhance themselves personally and professionally, take them away from their day to day routines (aka take them far away on an exotic cruise!) and remove all boundaries...the results are amazing and it's so awesome that we are going into our third year!!!
