...In all there were 16 smiling faces. This session was special to me not only because I LOVE Mrs. Kathy and her family sooo much, but also because this was a time for them all to gather and just enjoy being together, take some pictures, have fun and eat some good southern cookin'. Thank you everyone so much for treating me like one of your own and being such a pleasure to work with- what a way to start a morning right!

I liked this one a lot because it reminds me of a picture my Mom has of her great-uncle and his family sitting on thier front porch in the late 1800's (I think). This is somewhat of a modern twist on it that is a little less traditional but still timeless. I hope they will enjoy it for many years to come! The really fun thing about this shoot was that after the large group shots, we did mini family and couple sessions. The first one was actually taken on a little break of Mrs. Kathy and her youngest daughter, Charlee and the second one is Charlee and her beau, Nate (and Reese, of course) ...stay tuned for more sneak peaks like these ;)
...and here's the famous Reese, who Hudson has tried to barter a trade with Charlee in exchange for his little brother, Noah...but called it off when he could not negotiate Noah coming back after a day but Reese staying with him (what a sweet big brother!)

...Hudson and Noah had a blast when they came back to help pack up all the gear...chasing Reese and climbing fences (who knew that only 10 minutes could result in so much fun and dirt!)...the promise of coming back for four wheeler rides and roasting marshmallows was the only peaceful way to get them back in the truck!
WOW Kaci... these pics are even better that I expected. Thank you SO much!! We all loved working with you..you are the BEST! You truly have a talent with the camera. I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. I'm SO excited!! We all love you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs. Kathy, I am so glad everyone had a great time and you love the pictures! The funnest part about these is that when you just let the moments happen, they take on a life of their own... the images that you get are so much better than if you would have planned everything out perfectly.
ReplyDeleteWE had a great time! You were AWESOME! I want you to do some prego pics for me. I can't wait to see the rest of the pics.
