HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART!!!

Seventh grade will always stand out in my memory. It was the first time I saw him, walking through the courtyard in his blue Chargers football jersey...ahhhh, he's sooo cute! So often "the new boy" gets all the attention and Adam was no different. The funny thing was though- he had NO clue! He was very quite and shy when it came to girls and really just loved joking around. He was actually "going out" with a friend of mine at the time but my heart couldn't help but smile every time I saw him.

I was also dating an older guy (...in high school...you know how that goes...) and eventually my friend and Adam "broke up" from a relationship that consisted of "hi's" and "bye's" passing between classes (lol- isn't middle school romance funny!). Adam and I both loved sports, our girls basketball team would scrimmage the boys many times for practice and I loved it. We also ran track together and through sports and a few classes got to know each other and enjoyed joking and having fun.

So, finally our Freshman year of High school he asked me to be his girlfriend at the prodding of one of his best friends (thanks Doug!) and the rest is history (though a very funny and eventful one!)

So today is my husband's birthday and we have so much to celebrate- his (almost 30) years on earth, our love, marriage, family, business and future...

To my best friend, wonderful father and absolute love of my life...HAPPY BIRTHDAY-I love you Adam!!!
