Shaded by the towering water oaks the riverside ceremony was textbook romance as they exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends- simple and effortless just the way so many brides imagine their special day! 
This wedding (as with all the weddings I have the privilege of photographing) was extra special to me because Jimmy has been a friend of ours since high school. He and my husband spent many years on the Warriors Basketball team together (oh, the memories!) His sense of humor and kindness had only grown over the years, he has such a special way of making everyone laugh and somehow can aggravate with a sly smile while making you feel like family...Geri is sweetheart, a true gem and loves him for all that he is- doesn't she just radiate with warm smiles...(and yes, he knows what a lucky man he is!)
The ceremony was followed by an outdoor reception where guests enjoyed live strings and vocals and continued the celebration with family and friends-
More to come with the heartfelt toast from Jimmy's brother and Jimmy's special approach to the cake cutting...you won't want to miss this :)
