Welcome Baby: O'neal Charlotte

Welcome to the world Baby!!!
O'neal Charlotte was born just a few days before our own little girl came along so I am so trilled and thankful to be surrounded by beautiful healthy baby girls! O'neal is named after her great-grandmother which is close to my heart because that is how we wanted to honor our grandparents with our own children. I think it is very lovely and unique!
I don't know how they did it (because we never could) but Natalie and Kevin wanted to be surprised at the birth so they did not find out before hand if they where having a boy or a girl. I was even more impressed with this great feat given the fact that O'neal is their first child!
We had so much fun with O'neal's newborn session... incorporating special blankets, gifts and a gorgeous Moses Basket that has become a family heirloom! She was such a sweetie and slept most of the time (waking of course to eat- ha!)
I love the little knitted hats that the babies get now in the hospital. Knitted by hand by volunteers, what a wonderful keepsake! It's hard to pick only a few favorites because let's face it babies are just so darn cute and little O'neal is no exception! But in addition to the images above, these classic black and white shots are just timeless- I love the first one with her arms crossed and sleeping so peacefully. Her nursery was just too cute, I had to get some of the little details so she would always be able to see how much care and preparation went into creating her first room :)
Thank you so much Natalie and Kevin for inviting me to capture some of your beautiful baby girl's first images. She is truly a darling and I wish you all the best! I know Micheli and her will have lots of play dates in the future - XOXO :)
