A Day at the Zoo {with Grayson}

There are many adventures that come along in a little boys life, many of which start out from the simplest endeavors. Some find themselves in unique situations that only a mother can love, while others have us all smiling at every turn. Little Grayson is no exception, our day at the zoo had many laughs, surprises, a few fusses, but lots and lots of F-U-N!!!

After taking a quick power nap on the drive there, Grayson was fired up and ready to dive right in with feeding the giraffes!

Next up, the elephants! Here, Grayson showed off his new moves (with a little help from mommy) climbing the elephant statue and managing on his own to navigate walking on the mulch- what a BIG boy he is getting to be!

After a quick drink break, Steph and Grayson had some cuddle time by the bamboo shade trees. Grayson decided to do his best  impression of a Koala by nibbling on the bamboo, ha! Obviously not enjoying the taste he settled for mommy's necklace instead.

This next image is one of my all time favorites of the day, there is no other way to express a mother's joy that to simply sit back and watch their child's eyes sparkle in discovery of each and every little thing that catches their eye.

The sunscreen was not popular, but we quickly made up for it with the colorful Koi fish at the Asian Gardens.

Grayson ended up preferring to push the wagon than simply sit and enjoy the ride. I love the next series, it shows just how excited he was to get into his bathing suit- he was making a break for the fountain!

Ah, at last the fountain :)

From the fountain to the splash park, Grayson absolutely loved the water (and the ladies!) I know his Daddy would be proud of this next image! One of the first things that caught his eye in the splash park was a pretty little girl in a pink bathing suite- just priceless!!!

Such a sweet and handsome little boy! Steph, Brian and Grayson, thank you for letting me come along on the many adventures of your lives together and getting to enjoy seeing Grayson grow- what a blessing you are all! xoxo :)
