Summer Fun {Noah's Songs}

Noah and baby girl went with me today to run errands around town and on the way I told him I had a surprise for him...

He said "Oh, for being a good boy!"
at the time it was only 9:30am so there had not been too much time for him to necessarily be bad (but this is Noah we are talking about!)

So, I said... "No, it's because I love you! But when you are a good boy it makes Mommy really happy."

After our short conversation he started singing songs and when I realized he was making up his own I listened and then grabbed a receipt to jot them down on the back so I could remember them. He's always singing silly songs about everything but these where just so sweet.

Here are a few of the ones that just made me smile and laugh :)

When I am a good boy
it makes Daddy Happy
it makes Mommy Happy
it makes Me Happy
and I get a Surprise!

My Mommy is good
My Mommy is sweet
My Mommy puts on a bathing suit and goes swimming with Meeeeeeeee!

Then later in the day when Micheli was getting fussy, he sang
Don't cry baby girl
Don't cry baby girl
I love the baby
I love the baby
I love the baby

I love that little guy!

Spiderman and Friends!

This April our youngest son (Noah) celebrated his 2nd birthday! I can not even begin to comprehend how fast the time has flown by, they are just growing up too fast! Lovingly known in our family and among friends as "Baby No-No" (for all the right reasons) ...he is just getting to be such a big boy- it's getting hard to still call him our baby...but I will until it is just plain too embarrassing for him or we are blessed with another little one running around:)

It is no secret that Noah and Hudson love all things BOY...cars, dirt, sports, action figures and SPIDERMAN!!! Actually, Spiderman (pronounced spi-duh-mon) was pretty much Noah's first word besides "Da-Da" and "No". Both Noah and Hudson absolutely love Spiderman and even watch the movies (1-3) over and over again (3's Hud's favorite but Noah doesn't like the "bad Spiderman"). Anyways...back to the fun details of the party....So naturally, we got him a Spiderman cake and lots of action figures (including his new love, G.I. Joe). We also stocked up on water wings, floats and pool noodles and invited all his friends over for a pool party!
The weather had been warm all week, but not quite as warm as all the big kids (aka adults) would prefer for swimming. So, when the time came for the kids to go swimming they were all about it ...
...but only a couple brave Dad's went in (thanks Joe & Jeremy!).
(Above: Jeremy braces himself for the cold water, now that's love!)

They had a blast jumping, sliding, splashing and just having fun in the pool!
After much of their energy was spent we got them out of the pool and ready to head back inside for cake, ice cream...one last sugar rush so the kids to help Noah open his presents.
I handed the camera off to the ever trusty Jeremy and here's what he was able to capture after he had a little fun of his own...He has put in for being my new assistant and I just might have to take him up on that one day, he did a pretty good job :)

THANK YOU so much to everyone that came and made this day very special for Noah- we love you ALL very very much and are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!
