Kristen + David are Married!!!

As promised here are more lovely images from Kristen & David's BIG day :) (and there's more to come- Kristen's flair for details has landed a full post all their own). There are few words that can adequately describe how beautiful this St. Augustine day was- ah, I think I will let the images do most of the talking for this one...

The elegant details started with Kristen's stunning gown, and certainly did not end there. The preparations for the ceremony were some of the smoothest and stress free that I have been blessed to be a part of.

David and the guys, enjoyed a similar relaxed environment in preparing for the ceremony as well.

When the hour arrived for Kristen to stroll down the sand with her Dad, the sky could not have been more perfect! And I have to thank my two phenomenal photographers Jen and Shain who were there with me to capture each of these precious moments. At every turn they were right there with me to be sure not a single moment or detail was missed.

Following the beach ceremony, the reception was held at the The Chautauqua Beach House of St. Augustine, Fl. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts,  sweet congratulations, gourmet food, dancing and ended with such a fun surprise under David's Groom's Cake that Kristen revealed with a grin after he tried to slice into it without much success.

The last images caught the sunset and served as such an ideal summary of what a truly wonderful day it was! Congratulations Kristen & David!!! xoxo :)

Be sure to stay tuned for Part 2 of this post featuring Kristen's awesome details later this week!

Sneak Peek {Kristen + David}

Here's just a small glimpse into Kristen and David's St. Augustine Beach Wedding! Oh, the details to come- let's just say that Kristen's unreal talents for creativity in style and design will blow you away :)

Until then, enjoy the teasers of their perfect day...

I love how sweet this series is. There is so much going on in preparation for the BIG moment, that sweet little moments like this in between just melt my heart.

The first look was just as emotional with smiles all around. I absolutely love being a fly on the wall as bride and groom set their eyes on each other for the first time and for just a brief time the outside world really does seem to stop as if they are the only two souls there, ahhh- true love!

After the first look we headed to the waterfront for a few shots while the finishing touches of the ceremony and beach house reception were completed.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!!! Enjoy a nice loooong relaxing honeymoon :)
Much more to come soon and I promise you DO NOT want to miss Kristen's amazing details :)

xoxo!

Real Weddings {Erin + Jamie}

I am still reeling from Erin and Jamie's beautiful and exquisite wedding this past weekend. Time after time I am floored by seeing first hand how completely in love couples are and these two are no exception. You can see it in their eyes, they way they make each other smile and all without a single word spoken.
We started out the day at the charming Casa Monica Hotel in St. Augustine, Florida. It was the perfect setting for Erin and the girls to relax and prepare for the big day. Erin was stunning in her custom made couture wedding dress, I don't think it could have been more perfect!I love how with each minute that moves closer to "it's time" a whirlwind of emotions and feelings come over everyone- from anticipation, silent moments, timeless smiles and then the first few steps towards a new future!
Set in the courtyard of the Lightner Museum the ceremony itself was stunning and perfect in every way imaginable.
And finally just a couple more sneak peeks at the quiet moments that Erin and Jamie were able to have following the ceremony before their epic reception began at the Casa Monica, more coming soon :)
Congratulations Erin and Jamie!!!

{Erin + Jamie} Part II

So, we left off with Erin and Jamie in the first half of our session hand in hand walking through the historic streets of St. Augustine...

After a quick break and change we were back at it- this time in uniform.
I felt so proud walking beside them and really enjoyed a few people stopping and thanking them for their service to our country (that really warms my heart!)
Along the way, I learned a lot of service rules and regulations and that Erin in fact outranks Jamie (ha, she really loves that!)

Whole heartedly I cannot say just how much respect and gratitude I have for Erin, Jamie and all our service men and women. What they do for us and the future of our children can never be measured.

Erin and Jamie- you are the best!

Sneak Peek {Erin & Jamie} Part 1

Erin and Jamie are two of a kind- sweet, funny and sooooo in love!
From the first email Erin sent me from Afghanistan, there was a very special place in my heart.I am beyond humbled and so admire the sacrifice that service men and women make for our nation and others all around the world. So I am pretty sure I was nearly as excited as she was about her upcoming wedding and her return home.
They drove in from Mississippi to meet for our session in beautiful sunny St. Augustine. We hit the streets and explored all the nooks, crannies and alleys of historic downtown.
Jamie also serves our country so part two of their engagement session will be complete with them in uniform and a behind the scenes video of our day together- but for now, here's some more fun shots to hold you over :)
Erin and Jamie- I can not thank you enough for such a wonderful time and all the time and dedication that you have given to our country!
xoxo :)

Boys Will Be Boys...

I love everything about the day of the wedding...the hair, makeup, little details, ohhhh the lovely dress, romantic ceremonies and fun, fun, fun receptions. But there is one thing that every wedding has somewhere in the midst...the joker... usually one of the groomsmen or best man. but in this case, Brian was the ringleader and he had plenty of backup from the guys!

This series of Brian and the groomsmen the morning before the wedding had me rolling through editing and I knew that it just had to have it's own special place here. I know ladies, it is just not fair that the guys get to have all the fun and experience very little stress through the getting ready process, but we love them anyway ;)

enjoy...

Make it Your Own: One For The Guys...

While putting together the images and story for the sneak peek of Sheena + Chris I just kept going back to this series with the Groom and decided it was one that deserved a very special feature...hope you enjoy :)

While finalizing the wedding day timeline with Sheena, she mentioned that Chris thought about starting off his formals with some mini golf with the guys. I LOVED the idea so we reworked a few things around to be sure to get it in- we started out the day with the guys and ended up moving their schedule up by about an hour and a half (and was completely worth it!)

Now, there's only one thing better than an awesome bride (love you Sheena...and her "moms"...well, and her family and close friends...ok, they are all great!!!) and that's an equally enthusiastic and fun groom that is not only supportive and involved but also invested in creating great images of their day! Chris was not only eager to contribute creatively but wanted to also orchestrate lasting memories with the guys... (who where all so amazing, fun and such good sports about our mini golf adventure!) We met at the Bayfront Mini Golf Course in St. Augustine just up the block from The White Room where the rooftop ceremony would later take place. The whole purpose was a fun activity with the guys...mini golf in tuxes-ha! And tons of fun is exactly what we had- what a great group! I love this image of Chris's Dad lining up the 6 inch putt...sooo funny!I hope this inspires more Grooms to not only get involved but truly be "all in" when it comes to planning a memorable day from start to finish- highlighting their friendships, love for family and creating those unforgettable experiences along the way! Thank you Chris for your wonderful ideas and also a huge thanks to all the guys!

See the full wedding post soon!
