Kristen + David are Married!!!

As promised here are more lovely images from Kristen & David's BIG day :) (and there's more to come- Kristen's flair for details has landed a full post all their own). There are few words that can adequately describe how beautiful this St. Augustine day was- ah, I think I will let the images do most of the talking for this one...

The elegant details started with Kristen's stunning gown, and certainly did not end there. The preparations for the ceremony were some of the smoothest and stress free that I have been blessed to be a part of.


David and the guys, enjoyed a similar relaxed environment in preparing for the ceremony as well.


When the hour arrived for Kristen to stroll down the sand with her Dad, the sky could not have been more perfect! And I have to thank my two phenomenal photographers Jen and Shain who were there with me to capture each of these precious moments. At every turn they were right there with me to be sure not a single moment or detail was missed.


Following the beach ceremony, the reception was held at the The Chautauqua Beach House of St. Augustine, Fl. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts,  sweet congratulations, gourmet food, dancing and ended with such a fun surprise under David's Groom's Cake that Kristen revealed with a grin after he tried to slice into it without much success.


The last images caught the sunset and served as such an ideal summary of what a truly wonderful day it was! Congratulations Kristen & David!!! xoxo :)

Here's just a small glimpse into Kristen and David's St. Augustine Beach Wedding! Oh, the details to come- let's just say that Kristen's unreal talents for creativity in style and design will blow you away :)

I love how sweet this series is. There is so much going on in preparation for the BIG moment, that sweet little moments like this in between just melt my heart.


The first look was just as emotional with smiles all around. I absolutely love being a fly on the wall as bride and groom set their eyes on each other for the first time and for just a brief time the outside world really does seem to stop as if they are the only two souls there, ahhh- true love!


After the first look we headed to the waterfront for a few shots while the finishing touches of the ceremony and beach house reception were completed.


Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!!! Enjoy a nice loooong relaxing honeymoon :)

Brittany & Geovanny are MARRIED!!!

Brittany and Geovanny's big day came with a lot of excitement. Surrounded by family and friends from beginning to end, their sweet outdoor celebration was everything they hoped it would be...and more :)

Nestled beautifully under a canopy of soft rolling clouds they exchanged vows, rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife. I continue to be so blown away and thankful for each and every love story I am so blessed to be a part of. Just seeing it fresh in the eyes of two individuals so committed to each other and the plan that God has for their lives together is so inspiring.

I love that Brittany selected her Grandmother as her Matron of Honor and wore her Grandfather's gold cross necklace during the ceremony. The love of family and friends runs deep and it was evident in every aspect of the day.

The celebration continued with sweet toasts from Grandma, Dad and the family. And of course there was cake and dancing!

I thought it would be fun to end with some goodbye kisses and also share another big, B I G C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S

to Brittany & Geovanny as their happily ever after begins and may it forever continue!

Christine & Jason's {Breathtaking} Savannah Wedding

I am beyond excited to share this post with you for so many reasons, but the biggest is that below there is soooooo much more beautiful details of Christine and Jason's gorgeous Savannah wedding!!!

Set in Monroe Square, the weather could not have been more perfect! The trees formed a delicate canopy over the ceremony as Jason's father led them in their vows. The unity sand ceremony uniquely took place mid ceremony which displayed such a precious moment for the parents that clearly communicated Christine and Jason's love and respect for them. With a coin from Ireland and her grandmother's memorial cross pinned to her bouquet it was certainly more than good Irish luck that has blessed this special day for this sweet, sweet couple!

Complete with a horse drawn carriage, the newlyweds made their way through the historic streets to an equally historic local favorite, Vic's on the River. Guests also enjoyed the scenic route to the reception and arrived by trolley. With no southern detail overlooked the stage was set as the beaming couple took to the dance floor amidst cheering applause from their friends and family who had all traveled in for their very special destination wedding!

The rustic yet extremely elegant setting of Vic's and the beautiful views of the bay continued the tone of simple southern romance. And if that was not enough the soft buttery biscuits with orange marmalade, shrimp and grits, soulful live acoustics and song reeled you right into the old south (and kept you there!)

Following the reception, a string of sun-laced bubbles led way to an awaiting rickshaw complete with a top hat driver to carry them on to one of Savannah's most romantic bed and breakfasts, The Gastonian.

After a delicious private reception at the Inn, we explored the surrounding gardens and then happily left the new Mr. and Mrs. to officially begin their honeymoon :)

It's always a treat to go to Savannah! I adore all the history, architecture and beautiful squares. And what's even better is to be able to share it with a sweet couple head over heels in love...Congratulations Mr. & Mrs.!!!!

Real Weddings {Stacey + Paul}

I LOVE guys with a sense of humor and Paul has got a fantastic one. He not only kept me on my toes but my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much! Stacey is lovely in every way and is a perfect match for Paul and whatever he has to throw at her :)

I thought I would start this post off a little different than the rest and show a bit more behind the scenes getting ready. I adore how a simple black and white image can share the emotion of the moment and am soooo thrilled that Stacey shares the same passion for black and white photography!

The day was beautiful- warm, with a gentle waterfront breeze. The ceremony was set amongst the oak trees at the always lovely Club Continental. Stacey was absolutely breathtaking!

Following the ceremony Stacey had appropriated plenty of time into the formal pictures so with the extra to spare we were able to capture the new Mr. and Mrs. in some nice alone time.

Ahhh, the details were amazing- so personalized and flowed from beginning to end. Every photographers dream :) Thank you Stacey for taking so much careful planning on every little detail, the finished vision was picture perfect!And to wrap up the sneak peek, a couple of the all time favs from the day- Congratulations Stacey and Paul, I wish you all the best and a house full of kiddos!!! xoxo

Real Weddings: Stephanie + Brian {Sneak Peek}

From the moment I met Stephanie I fell in love with her passion and overall excitement...not only for her upcoming wedding but her outlook on life in general. Stephanie is not only a super sweet person, she is an amazing wedding planner and had thought of every little detail (truly a photographers dream!). So, it was easy for me to see why Brian loved her so much and was one of the most supportive grooms I have seen throughout the entire process (Thank you, Brian!). I still can not think of either one of them without smiling (love, love, love you guys)!

Their love story is so cute and unique and just so full of laughter (more on that later!)...back to the sneak peek that everyone has been waiting for... At the alter of The Ancient City Baptist Church, Stephanie and Brian exchanged vows and promised forever to one another.The historic church was a perfect setting for their lifelong commitment; it's beauty and ambiance was surpassed only by Brian and Stephanie's love and commitment to one another.
After the ceremony, guests and the wedding party traveled in style on trolley rides to the reception at The White Room. Here is only a small appetizer of the stunning details Stephanie worked so hard on for the reception.
Before being announced we had a little fun around town while guest enjoyed cocktails.
Once Mr. and Mrs. Brian Kalch stepped on to the dance floor all eyes where on them. Theirs is definitely one of my favorite first dances; so smooth and romantic and Brian absolutely perfected the dip!
Brian and Stephanie, I am truly blessed to have worked with you and honored with your friendship. Thank you so much for letting me share this wonderful moment in your lives! I wish you all the best and hope you have a relaxing honeymoon!
