Welcome Baby Paige

Pretty in pink and twice as sweet, baby Paige was such a delight to work with. Oh, if only we could all nap as peaceful as this sweet little angel.

She did amazing through the entire session, with lots of love from Mom and Dad and some feeding and cuddling breaks in between. And even some special attention from a special friend... um, well maybe protector is a better word, ha :)

And...My absolute favorite, F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E image of the entire session!!!

Ahhhh, be still my heart- this image represents so many things- true happiness, unconditional love, the precious gift of marriage and the simple joys that children bring. This is "the one" that just may be a stunning HUGE canvas in my studio one day- oh, yeah...I can just see it now...LOVE!!!!

Ryan and Caitlin, congratulations on your precious baby girl! She is wonderful in every way- watching you both with her, there is no doubt of the love that fills your hearts. She really hit the parent lottery! I pray many, many blessings for you all and will enjoy watching her grow (though hopefully, not too fast!)

xoxo, enjoy each and every day (and nights...even the sleepless ones).

Real Weddings {Stacey + Paul}

I LOVE guys with a sense of humor and Paul has got a fantastic one. He not only kept me on my toes but my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much! Stacey is lovely in every way and is a perfect match for Paul and whatever he has to throw at her :)
I thought I would start this post off a little different than the rest and show a bit more behind the scenes getting ready. I adore how a simple black and white image can share the emotion of the moment and am soooo thrilled that Stacey shares the same passion for black and white photography!
The day was beautiful- warm, with a gentle waterfront breeze. The ceremony was set amongst the oak trees at the always lovely Club Continental. Stacey was absolutely breathtaking!
Following the ceremony Stacey had appropriated plenty of time into the formal pictures so with the extra to spare we were able to capture the new Mr. and Mrs. in some nice alone time.
Ahhh, the details were amazing- so personalized and flowed from beginning to end. Every photographers dream :) Thank you Stacey for taking so much careful planning on every little detail, the finished vision was picture perfect!And to wrap up the sneak peek, a couple of the all time favs from the day- Congratulations Stacey and Paul, I wish you all the best and a house full of kiddos!!! xoxo

Micheli's New Dress

Today I was inspired by my sweet friend Camille and my wonderful mom and here's the results!

Camille (aka the world's most fabulous fairy Godmother- yes, there is a title and she won...hands down) brought back this adorable little dress for Micheli from her recent trip to Honduras. I love the vintage feel of it and it fits her perfectly!It was the ideal first pairing for the old wicker rocking chair my mom ("Grami") insisted that I just "had to have" (ha!) I guess this is the part where I say the words every mother wants to hear..."You were right, mom!" I do love the wicker rocker and am glad you stayed on me about getting it (love you!)

This was Micheli's first encounter with wicker and she really enjoyed exploring it- these were just too cute to leave out so I wanted to share...
I really love how everything turned out and look forward to much more to come with our sweet baby girl and the lil' rocking chair...and I think Micheli kinda likes it too :)

Just a few to hold everyone over- she's a cutie pie and has much, much more to come :)While I love the vibrant colors and her beautiful blue eyes (when she's awake-ha!) I have to say the black and whites are some of my absolute favorites- so classic, timeless and absolutely adorable...

The In Between {Baby Blessings}

It's been almost two months since our baby girl has been here and I still feel like I have a constant smile on my face- she has brought so much joy, laughter and pink into the mix...we are all just crazy about her. But, the other day I realized (as I was setting aside outfits she has already outgrown...I know, sad!) that I have not slowed down to just watch her and live in the moment- those little in between little moments from running here and there, working, relaxing and moving on to the next item on the schedule- so the this weekend, that's what we did...and here's what we got :)

I love this one because it reminds me of Noah- he still has that same little pouty lip (sooo cute)Hudson absolutely adores her and is never too far away from her. He loves holding and playing with her and has made it his responsibility to tell us what she needs :)This one just steals my heart- there aren't strong enough words...I love it!And this one, my little photographer in training snapped when he told me it was his turn to take pictures- thanks Hud :)
I look forward to sharing more as she grows and the craziness that has become normal in our household of 5...we are officially outnumbered by the kiddos so it should be interesting to say the least- but I would not have it any other way!
