A few months back we had decided to purchase season passes at Wild Adventures for five specific reasons...
1) They were really cheap!
2) Noah is free!
3) Valdosta is only a couple hours from us
4) The passes cover the theme park, water park, go carts and mini golf, plus they have animals!
5) They were REALLY, REALLY cheap!
So, I was super excited about this milestone for the boys and I had visions of the kids just having perma-grin all day long...well, sort of...
Once we were all checked in and through the gates, Noah gave the fit of all fits- I mean a real performance. So much so that I could not even push the stroller because he was throwing himself from one side to the other. So Adam took him to calm him down while Jodi and I took Hudson and Ace to ride a little roller coaster...
Hudson's first (and last for a while)! The whole time we were in line the boys were excited and watched as all the other riders went up, down and around. But that changed when the cars started up, up, up. Hudson became VERY quiet and held onto my arm as tight as he could (oh, his face was sooo pitiful when we came down that first drop). When it was all over he looked up at me and said, "That was NOT fun!"Above: Noah chose not want to participate in the picture, so Aunt Jo-Jo happily filled in for him :)
But after a few more lower keyed rides, he was having a ball as we made our way through to the water park riding the river rapids, insect-o-slide and flying an airplane. Noah eventually calmed down (a little) when we let him walk by himself, but nearly gave me a heart attack when he disappeared and then showed up in another mom's wagon with her little boy (thank God for Good Samaritans!!!)- that was the LONGEST 15 seconds of my entire life!!!
Above: Adam's seriously cute "game face" ...Noah was wearing him down, fast...then a little relief came at the water park when he could just run wild! Ace (right) is always hamming it up for the camera- he loves it!
And then we finally reached what they had all been waiting for all afternoon...Splash Island!!! There was a little area just for them that they ran all over as well as all the parent's favorite...the lazy river! They wore us (and themselves) out, splashing and playing- needless to say it was a very quiet ride home with all three boys sleeping!Overall, we had a great time! The lines were short and there was plenty for the kids to do. As always I wish I had taken more pictures but between dividing and concurring with the kids and lots of water, the camera took the back seat- but there's always next time :)
